The American-Swiss violinist Sandra Goldberg has been heard as soloist and chamber music player in the USA, Canada, Europe and the Far East as well as in renowned music festivals such as the Grand Teton, Aspen, and “Carinthian Summer” festivals. She has been featured as soloist with the Zürich Chamber Orchestra and other orchestras, including the National Russian Philharmonic Orchestra of Tomsk, and she has premiered several new works. As a competition winner, she has performed in Chicago’s Orchestra Hall and Carnegie Recital Hall.

Ms. Goldberg holds degrees from the Peabody Conservatory and Eastman School of Music, where she studied with Berl Senofsky and Donald Weilerstein, and she has performed in the master classes of Nathan Milstein and Szymon Goldberg. Besides international radio and television performances of solo and chamber music, Sandra Goldberg can be heard on CD with the Zürich Chamber Orchestra, Opera Nova Zürich, with Swiss clarinetist Josias Just, and with the Trio Bellerive. In 1985 she joined the Zürich Chamber Orchestra to fill the position of third solo violin and was assistant concertmaster from 1999-2003.

Since 2018 she has been retired from the Zürich Chamber Orchestra and the Music School Conservatory in Zürich, but she continues to teach privately and perform as a soloist and chamber music player. In addition to these activities she has been developing and expanding her talents as a composer in various genres including music for children, cello ensemble, clarinet ensemble, songs and works for orchestra. Currently she is working on an orchestral musical story for children.
